“Yakumama” from Quechua; “Spirit mother of the water”.
The goddess of rivers and lakes – often incarnated as a large serpent.

Yakumama was conceived as a vision between people with a shared interests in art, science and consciousness. We wanted to create not only a beautiful venue for work as well as recreation, but also a community of growth and creativity. A place for relaxing, debating, learning, working, gardening and enjoying life.

The members of Yakumama come from three different continents, we have very different professional backgrounds, and between us we have a large international network and contacts in many different fields.

It is our dream that the Yakumama community will be a place for people from all over the world to meet, be inspired and exchange ideas through seminars, workshops, artist recidencies, or simply the company of good friends and kindred spirits.
